What is a Catholic Education?
Guided by the Catechism of the Catholic Church, we believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. It is your right and duty to be the primary role models for the development of your child’s life—physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically. Your choice of St. Francis Catholic School involves a commitment and exhibits a concern for helping your child to recognize God as the greatest good in his or her life. It is a privilege for us to partner with you in the education of your child.
Leading by example is the strongest teacher.
Our personal relationships with God, with each other, and with the Church community will affect the way your child relates to God and others. Ideals taught in school are not well rooted in the child unless these are nurtured by the example of Christian morality and by an honest personal relationship with God in family life. Together, let us commit to partnership as we support one another in helping your child become the best person God is calling them to be.

Community Service
Your childs’ educational experience at Saint Francis will be enriched by an environment filled with opportunities defined by Faith, Service, and Fellowship.
Our students have a number of ways to exercise their faith each day, but particularly during the seasons and feast days during which the Church encourages us to pray and grow. We nurture our faith in God and our communion with one another by praying together. Mass is celebrated together as a school every week, and we begin and end the school day in prayer.
God has blessed us abundantly, and we love to share his love with each other, our parish, the community we live in, and the wider world. We actively partner with our parish, with each class being assigned a ministry, including: The St. Francis Thrift Store, Women of St. Francis, Knights of Columbus, Sharing Thy Bounty, Pregnancy Center, and Friendly Visitors.
Partnership with St. Francis Thrift Shop
The St. Francis Thrift Shop is a wonderful community outreach ministry managed by St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church. Our school is blessed by scholarships and other unique funding support, while our students often volunteer their services at the store. It is a treasured island resource, which greatly benefits our school and our students.
Partnership with The Pines
We collaborate with The Pines senior living community, fostering intergenerational connections.
